Driver CDL A Coil Position

Drivers are hauling Steel Coils out of the steel mill and hauling Scrap Metal back to the steel mill in Columbus, MS multiple times weekly.
Drivers pulled customized End Dump trailers with rails on the inside.
An overhead crane will load the trailer with a steel coil, the driver will climb into trailer chaining, binding, and sock tarping the coil into the trailer.
Driver will deliver the steel coil into a 300-mile radius to manufacturing facilities, in Alabama, Arkansas, Southern Kentucky, Tennessee and occasional South Carolina.
Once driver has delivered the steel coil, the driver will be picking up a load of scrap metal to haul back to Columbus, MS.
o Schedule:
Drivers leave out late Sunday to early Monday for the Monday morning delivery of the steel coil.
Drivers can expect to be home every weekend and occasionally have the opportunity to come up thru the week.
